Overhead clearance

Definition

The vertical space a roll-off truck needs to raise its hoist and set or retrieve a container — substantially more than the container’s own height.

What else to know about overhead clearance

Low branches, power drops to the house, and garage soffits are the usual obstructions. Mention them when ordering, because the driver will otherwise leave.
