Definition

Leftover household products that are corrosive, toxic, flammable or reactive — paint, solvents, pesticides, fuel, pool chemicals. Never container material.

What else to know about household hazardous waste

Most counties run collection days. Dried latex paint is the one common exception that becomes acceptable once it is genuinely solid.
