# Cookie policy

## What is set today

No cookies. Two items of local storage, both created only when you act: your light or dark theme choice, and a record of your answer to the cookie banner so it stops appearing. Neither identifies you, neither is sent to us, and neither is readable by another site.

## What would change with advertising

If we introduce display advertising or affiliate tracking, those vendors would set their own cookies. The consent banner is built to gate that: nothing non-essential loads until you accept. We will name every vendor on the privacy policy before any of it goes live.

## Managing it

Clearing site data in your browser removes both items. The banner will then reappear on your next visit.
